Dr Ify Mordi

Dr Mordi is a Consultant Cardiologist and British Heart Foundation Intermediate Clinical Research Fellow at the University of Dundee.

He has a clinical and research interest in the cardiovascular complications of diabetes, in particular heart failure. He is the Chief Investigator of the SOPHIST clinical trial, the first large trial of SGLT2 inhibitors in people with type 1 diabetes and heart failure. His BHF Fellowship focuses on the development and treatment of heart failure in diabetes.
